The following photos of the "J" taken on her decommissioning day in San Diego are courtesy of Bill "Wild Bill" Berry, SFC-Ret. Bill was a crew member on the Jason from 1956 to 1959. Bill used to make all sorts of noise while doing a lot of "heatin' and beatin'" in the blacksmith's shop, heh heh. My sincere and grateful thanks go to Bill for contributing these excellent photos which were taken on a sad day in the Jason's long and illustrious history. Well done, my friend. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
