The following photos were scanned from the Jason 1980-81 cruisebook by Barbara Hacker Allshouse, DP2. My sincere thanks and gratitude goes to Barbara for her kindness in sharing these great photos with our fellow Jasonites so we could all enjoy them.

These photos from the cruisebook depict the unspeakable tortures that the Jason "polliwogs" had to endure at the hands of the "evil-doer" Jason "shellbacks" while crossing the Equator. The "wogs" had to go through these horrors before they were allowed into the Realm Of Neptunus Rex, Ruler Of The Raging Main!
